COOPERSTOWN
- The
Otsego-Schoharie District Annual Investiture Service was held at
Bump Tavern, on Wednesday May 17th, located in the Farmers Museum in
Cooperstown.
This service is performed by the Past Masters from many of the
Lodges within our district to newly elected Masters before they can
be installed in their respective Lodges.
R:.
W:. Edward Gilbert, Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of the
State Of New York was our guest of
honor for the evening.
Bump Tavern was originally
located in Windham N.Y. Because of its prominence as an historical
meeting place it was moved, board-by-board, and rebuilt at its
present location at the Museum in Cooperstown. It is a true honor to
hold our Investiture Service in the same room that has hosted
Masonic Communications for over 200 years. Click the links
