RICHFIELD SPRINGS- Masonic Lodges of Cobleskill, Richfield Springs, and Schenevus in the Otsego-Schoharie Masonic District promoted child safety through their Masonic Child ID Program at the Richfield Springs Youth Ministry Program (The Zone) Youth Fair, on Saturday July 22nd in Spring Park.

The Masonic Child ID Program is a program designed to video tape children to help aid in the safe return of a missing child. Video taping of a child, records his or her

actions, movements and body language, as well as, the child’s voice and any other characteristics that may help others recognize a child if he or she becomes missing. Upon the conclusion of the video taping of the child the cassette is given to the parents for their safe keeping.

The program is done at no cost to the parents or the community and solely funded by the Trustees of the Masonic Care Community in Utica and the manpower is donated by the Masons throughout New York State.
